Adams – In Woburn, January 23rd, John, beloved husband of Doris (Olson) Adams. Devoted brother of the late Leo Adams. A funeral service will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Saturday, January 26th at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord. Donations may be made in John’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.

OBITUARY:

John Adams of Woburn passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 23rd, at Winchester Hospital after having been stricken at his home. He was the husband of Doris (Olson) Adams for the past thirty-five years.

Born in Albania, he grew up in Boston and graduated from Roxbury High School. He worked as an electronic technician for M.I.T. for many years, and retired from Lincoln Labs twenty-two years ago.

He lived in Concord for many years and later lived in Bedford for ten years before taking up residence in Woburn twenty-five years ago.

He was the brother of the late Leo Adams. He is survived by his wife, Doris.

A funeral service will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday morning, January 26th, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10 to 11 a.m.
