Loving son of Marie (Consales) Price of Woburn and the late William H. Price. Dear brother of Regina Brazier of Winchester, Catherine Price Hollyday, M.D., and her husband Joseph of Bedford, Julie Price, MD, and her fiance, Michael Olson, of Chapel Hill, NC, Chad Price of Fitchburg, Neal Price of Plymouth, Sean Price of Lexington, and the late Celia Colli. Brother-in-law of Joseph L. and his wife Joan McCarthy, Barbara Dimitruk and her husband Donald, Kathleen McSweeney and her husband James, and David McCarthy and his wife Kathleen. Also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and 3 grandnieces and nephews. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Thursday, January 10th, at 8:15 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 9. OBITUARY:

W. Brian Price of Woburn, 47, passed away at his home here Monday evening, January 7th, following an illness of eighteen months. He was the husband of Jeanne K. (McCarthy) Price of Woburn for the past fourteen years.

Born in Arlington on November 3, 1954, he was the son of Marie (Consales) Price of Woburn and the late William H. Price. He was raised in Woburn and graduated from Woburn High School with the Class of 1972.

For the past twenty-two years he was employed by Chromerics of Woburn, where he was Maintenance Supervisor. Ill health forced him to retire just two months ago.

Brian, known affectionately as “Curly” to many of his friends, was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing, passions which he shared with his daughter Mary. A wonderful husband and devoted father, he recently took his daughter on a hunting trip to fulfill a promise to her, despite his failing health. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, and also enjoyed motorcycling.

He and his family lived in Pepperell for twelve years until coming back to live in Woburn this past fall.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Celia Price Colli.

Surviving in addition to his wife Jeanne and his mother, Marie Price of Woburn, are his beloved daughter, Mary Bridgette Price, his sisters, Regina Brazier of Winchester, Catherine Price Hollyday, M.D. and her husband Joseph of Bedford, Julie Price, MD, and her fiancé, Michael Olson, of Chapel Hill, NC, Chad Price of Fitchburg, Neal Price of Plymouth, and Sean Price of Lexington.

He was the brother-in-law of Joseph L. and his wife Joan McCarthy, Barbara Dimitruk and her husband Donald, Kathleen McSweeney and her husband James, and David McCarthy and his wife Kathleen. He also leaves nineteen nieces and nephews and three grandnieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Thursday, January 10th, at 8:15 a.m. , followed by a funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 9. Interment will be in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
