Therrien – in Woburn, formerly of E. Boston, February 22nd, 2001, Rose (Carmosino), beloved wife of the late Henry Therrien. Devoted mother of Augustine J. Russo of Bedford and Joan A. Spinale of Woburn. Sister of John Carmosino of Revere and the late Anthony and Carl Carmosino and Carmella Bartholomew. Also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday, February 24th, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Donations may be made in Mrs. Therrien’s memory to the Cooperative Elder Services, 37B Street, Burlington, MA 01803. Rose Therrien of Woburn passed away on Thursday, February 22nd, 2001, at the age of ninety following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Henry Therrien, who died a year ago.

Born in Naples, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Jenny (Figulino) Carmosino. She came to the United States with her family as a youngster and grew up in East Boston. She resided in San Diego, California for thirty years, but for most of her life resided in East Boston. She came to live with her daughter, Joan Spinale, in Woburn, a year ago.

In earlier years she enjoyed square dancing, and more recently was involved with the Cooperative Elder Services in Burlington. Devoted to her family, she greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and later her great-grandchildren.

She had recently been honored at a ninetieth birthday party given by her family.

Preceding her in death were two brothers, Anthony and Carl Carmosino, and a sister, Carmella Bartholomew.

Surviving in addition to her daughter, Joan A. Spinale of Woburn, are a son, Augustine J. Russo of Bedford, as well as eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
