Walters – in Woburn, February 13th, 2001, Marie D. (D’Amico), beloved wife of the late Thomas G. Walters. Devoted mother of Judy Francis of Woburn. Loving grandmother of Joseph and Janet Francis of Woburn. Sister of the late Ruth Cedrone. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 15th, at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mrs. Walters’ memory to the VNA Hospice, 607 North Ave., Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880. Arrangements by the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, Woburn.

Marie D. Walters, a resident of Woburn’s West Side for over twenty-three years, passed away at her home here on Tuesday, February 13th, 2001, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Thomas G. Walters, who died ten years ago.

Born in Watertown, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Philomena (Conti) D’Amico. She graduated from Watertown High School and lived there until she took up residence in Woburn with her family.

Mrs. Walters worked for Raytheon as an assembler for many years, and was a member of the AFL-CIO.

In addition to her husband Tom, she was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Cedrone of Newton.

Surviving are a daughter, Judy Francis of Woburn, and two grandchildren, Joseph and Janet Francis of Woburn. She also leaves many dear friends.

A graveside service will be held tomorrow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Watertown at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours.

Donations may be made in Mrs. Walters’ memory to the VNA Hospice, 607 North Avenue, Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880.

Arrangements are being handled by the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, Woburn.
