As a We Honor Veterans Community Partner, we are committed to providing the highest quality services to veterans and their families and to expanding awareness of the unique needs of veterans and the benefits available to them.

For inquiries regarding VA benefits and the We Honor Veterans program, please call us at 781-933-0400 and ask to speak to a funeral director. It is our desire to assist you in every way.

Veterans Burial Benefits

Benefits for veterans who are buried in a private cemetery may include a military funeral honors ceremony, a burial flag, government headstone, marker or medallion, and a Presidential Memorial Certificate, at no cost to the family and upon request. We can help you apply to the VA for any of these benefits. Some veterans may also be eligible for burial allowances.

The VA furnishes a burial flag for memorialization of veterans and the rules are available here. Generally, the flag is given to the next-of-kin as a keepsake after its use during the funeral service. When there is no next-of-kin, the VA may give the flag to a friend making the request.

Rules regarding headstones, markers and medallions are available here , military  funeral honors here,  and Presidential Memorial Certificates here.
