Diane L. Young – of Woburn, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, March 17^th at the age of seventy-one. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Young. Devoted mother of Robert Toland, his wife Deanna of Methuen and Vincent Toland, his wife Tammi of Wilmington. Treasured grandmother of Robert Jr., Alyssa, and Vincent Jr. Dear sister of John Russo, his wife Stephanie, of Woburn, Catherine Frizzell, her husband Ray of Melrose, Paula Russo and Richard Cooper of Salem, MA, and Vicki Russo of Woburn. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, March 22nd in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held prior to the Mass from 9:30-11:15 a.m. in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn, MA. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to honor Diane’s memory to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Diane L. Young – of Woburn, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, March 17^th at the age of seventy-one. She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Young.

Born and raised in Woburn, Diane was a daughter of the late John and Pauline (Downs) Russo.

For many years, Diane worked in the cafeteria for the Atlantic Gelatin Company.

Diane’s world revolved around her family. Her sons and grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she was their biggest supporter. She was a excellent cook and excelled at making chocolate and candy which she did for every holiday and big event.

Diane loved traveling with her late husband Lenny to watch Nascar races and to the New England Dray way. She was also a Disney fan and loved visiting Disney World.

We will all miss Diane’s beautiful smile, her cheerfulness and grace. She will be in our hearts forever.
