MARJORIE CLAIRE (LEONARD) SIMEONE - of Woburn, Tues., Feb. 6th at her home. Beloved wife of the late Stanley S. Simeone. Devoted mother of Michael Donovan, his wife Barbara of CT, Stephen Donovan, his wife José of Acton and Vincent S. Simeone, his wife Gayle of Billerica. Loving grandmother of Michael Donovan Jr., his wife Vanessa of CT, Peter Donovan, his wife Lisa of Boston, Laura Donovan of Acton, Kelly Donovan of Amsterdam, Ryan Donovan of Acton, Michael Simeone, and wife Jessica of Merrimac, NH and the late Jonathon Simeone. Great grandmother of Lily, Nathan and Emma. Dear sister of Robert Leonard, and wife Rita of Burlington, Richard Leonard, and wife Pat of NY, William Leonard, and wife Judy of Burlington and the late, John Leonard, Louise Bourguignon, Barbara Sprague, Marilyn Barrett, Patricia McSorley and Eleanor Leonard. A Funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Tuesday, February 13th at 9:00 a.m, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Barbara’s Church, 138 Cambridge Road, Woburn at 10 a.m. Family and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours at the Funeral Home, Monday, February 12th, 4-8 p.m. Interment is private. OBITUARY

Marjorie Claire (Leonard) Simeone, a long-time resident of Woburn, died peacefully at home, Tuesday, February 6th, at the age of eighty seven.. She was the beloved wife of 50 years to the late Stanley S. Simeone.

Born in Medford, Marjorie was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Buckley) Leonard. She was raised and educated in Arlington and a graduate of Arlington High School.

For many years Marjorie worked as a legal secretary. In more recent years, Marjorie worked as a self employed caterer. Cooking and entertaining was a great joy and passion of Marjorie’s, and she was proud to be able to make a living by doing something she loved.

Marjorie’s family meant the world to her and she enjoyed nothing more than being surrounded by them. Christmas was her favorite time of the year, where she could cook and be around the ones she loved. She enjoyed traveling and especially loved the ocean, visiting her two favorite places, Ogunquit, Maine and Jupiter, Florida. She was also an avid gardener, enjoyed reading and was extremely proud of her Irish heritage.
