EVELYN M."Evie" (MARTIN) LOVE - in Ipswich, formerly of Woburn, January 12th at eighty-four years of age. Beloved wife of John A. "Al" Love. Lovingly devoted mother of Shirley L. Kearns, her husband Charles of Rockport, Karen E. Love and her husband Brian Silva of Gloucester, John A. Love Jr., his wife Maureen of Maryland, Scott E. Love, his wife Rose of Stratham, Elizabeth M. Coakley, her husband Ralph of Woburn, Louise Love–Keough of Gloucester, Robert M. Love, his wife Sheryl of Reading, David A. Love, his wife Tricia of Topsfield and the late daughter Lois M. Love. Dear sister of Hugh Martin Jr.,and late wife Connie of RI, Robert Martin and late wife Ellen of Woburn, Richard Martin and wife Madeline of NH, Louise Buschemi, her husband John of Woburn, Claire Murphy and late husband John of Burlington, Rita Martin of Andover and the late Francis and Marie Martin. Cherished “Nanny” of nineteen grandchildren and the late Daniel Coakley and eight great-grandchildren. Evelyn is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great and grand. A Funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Friday, January 19th at 11:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Celebration in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn at Noon. Evelyn M. "Evie" (Martin) Love of Ipswich, MA formerly of Woburn, MA and Deerfield Beach, FL passed away on January 12th. Evie was an active octogenarian until her gallant battle with ovarian cancer began over a year ago. Evie began most days with her positive attitude, declaring "today is a new day". She has been a dear friend and sage to many, a skillful voice of common sense. Most important to Evie, was her role as a wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a kind and caring matriarch to her family which was clear from the continuous stream of visitors over the past months.

To her husband Al of sixty-five years she was a constant companion friend and confidant, they were like Velcro - always together. He recently wrote to her "I'm thankful I got your telephone number the night we met XOXO, Al".

Evie is survived by her children, Shirley L. Kearns and her husband Charles of Rockport, Karen E. Love and her husband Brian Silva of Gloucester, John A. Love Jr. and his wife Maureen of Maryland, Scott E. Love and his wife Rose of Stratham, Elizabeth M. Coakley and her husband Ralph of Woburn, Louise Love–Keough of Gloucester, Robert M. Love and his wife Sheryl of Reading, David A. Love and his wife Tricia of Topsfield and Dear sister of Hugh Martin Jr.,and late wife Connie of RI, Robert; her siblings, Martin and late wife Ellen of Woburn, Richard Martin and his wife Madeline of NH, Louise Buschemi and her husband John of Woburn, Claire Murphy and late husband John of Burlington, Rita Martin of Andover and her cherished nineteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Evie is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great and grand.

She is predeceased by her daughter Lois M. Love, her grandson Daniel Coakley, her parents Hugh and Anna (Dolan) Martin and her siblings Francis Martin and Marie Martin.

A Funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Friday, January 19th at 11:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Celebration in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn at Noon.
