MARGARET T. (MULLEN) MILLS-O'CONNOR in Woburn, January10th, ninety two years of age. Beloved wife of the late Edward O'Connor and Richard Mills. Loving mother of Richard C. Mills, his wife Debra of Haverhill, Michael Mills, his wife Eileen and Elizabeth "Beth" Doherty, her husband Fran all of Woburn, Stephen B. Mills, his wife Joanne and Margaret "Meg" Flaherty, her husband Gary all of NH and Dennis P. Mills, his companion Deborah Masse of Sandwich. Cherished sister of Anna Scroxton of Billerica, Jean McElhinney, Irene Konan, Grace Mullen, all of Woburn and Patricia Kane of Stoneham and the late Albert, John "Moon", Thomas "KO" and Charlie Mullen. Also survived by her thirteen loving grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. OBITUARY

Margaret T. (Mullen) Mills O’Connor, a lifelong resident of Woburn, died peacefully, Wednesday, January 10th at ninety two years of age. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Mills and the late Edward O'Connor.

Born in Woburn, Margaret was a daughter of the late Bartholomeau and Madeline (McCarthy) Mullen. She was educated in Woburn and a graduate of Woburn High School, class of 1943.

As a young woman, Margaret worked as a telephone operator for the New England Telephone Company. When Margaret met and married her first husband, Richard Mills, they started their family in Woburn. During those years, she dedicated her time to her family, and stayed home to raise her children. She then worked part time at Filene's as a switchboard operator and then in the gift wrap department, where she perfected the art of presenting a beautifully wrapped gift for all occasions. In more recent years, Margaret worked for the Lahey Clinic in the gift shop and ophthalmology department.

Margaret was a member of the Middlesex Canal Historical Society where she was responsible for the re-location of the Baldwin Mansion to its current location and also building a replica of the original Middlesex Canal Boat.

Margaret loved to have fun and enjoyed life to the fullest! She travelled to Europe and the Caribbean and spent many winters in Florida where her grandchildren would often visit. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards and games, gardening, and body surfing with her sisters at Long Beach in Rockport, MA. Her humor, thoughtfulness, love and generosity will never be forgotten and she will be deeply missed.

Margaret was the loving mother of Michael Mills, his wife Eileen and Elizabeth "Beth" Doherty, her husband Fran all of Woburn, Stephen B. Mills, his wife Joanne and Margaret "Meg" Flaherty, her husband Gary all of NH and Dennis P. Mills, his companion Deborah Masse of Sandwich. Cherished sister of Anna Scroxton of Billerica, Jean McElhinney, Irene Konan, Grace Mullen, all of Woburn and Patricia Kane of Stoneham. She is also survived by thirteen loving grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Margaret was predeceased by her sons, Richard and Daniel Mills and her siblings, Albert, John "Moon," Thomas "KO" and Charlie Mullen and Mary Sokoloski.
