OBITUARY:

Anne Marie (Fleming) O’Hearn, passed away at the Nevins Nursing Center in Methuen, Monday, November, 27th. The beloved wife of Charles O’Hearn, she was eighty five years of age.

Born and raised in Somerville, Anne was the daughter of the late Thomas and Katherine (Carney) Flemming. Growing up she would attend Somerville schools, where she was graduate of Matignon High School. After high school Anne began working at the B&M Rail Road in the office. She would stay there for many years.

One evening while dancing at Mosley’s on the Charles, she met a young gentleman by the name of Charles. The rest as they say is history! After dating for a year or so, they decided to journey together as husband and wife, which travelled over fifty nine years .

They then began their wonderful family of a daughter and two sons, who were the very center of her life! In 1964, Anne and Charles, moved to Woburn, to raise their family. Being a "Mom" was one of Anne’s greatest pleasures, and there was never an activity, game or event missed.

Every summer they vacationed at Plum Cove in Gloucester . It was a very special place that the O'Hearns truly enjoyed cherishing their adventures and lots of fun in the sun!

Anne enjoyed knitting over the years. Sweaters and mittens were always welcomed gifts among family and friends. Playing cards was always a family favorite, but watch out when it came to cribbage, she was without a doubt a superb player.

Anne was a very charismatic person with a tremendous sense of humor! Wherever she went, she was the life of the party! Anne Marie's humor, laughter, and love made her special. She will always be remembered as a kind, welcoming, and strong woman, who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
