JUNE M. BURNS - in Woburn, October 7th, at eighty eight years of age. Cherished life partner of Alan Perrier. Beloved mother of Paul Skafas of Woburn, Ellen Perego, her husband Dairo of FL, and former daughter in law Kimberly Skafas of Haverhill. June M. Burns passed away at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge on Saturday, October 7th. The cherished life partner of Alan Perrier, she was eighty-seven years of age.

Born and raised in Cambridge, June was one of three siblings born to the late William and Ellen (Hughes) Burns. She attended Cambridge public schools, graduating from Cambridge High School with the Class of 1948.

An avid traveler all her life, June loved visiting many different and exciting countries all over the world, including the Far East, all over Europe, and Japan.

June settled in the Horn Pond area of the city over forty years. Overlooking Horn Pond, June enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets and many wonderful walks in, about and around the beautiful natural areas of the Pond.

When there were the many different activities going on in the city, June was right there taking part and enjoying it all. Joining in and helping out, in any way possible an individual, group or organization, June was right there to do whatever needed be done.

A very friendly, classy, jovial, and fun woman, June made many, many friends along life's journey, very easily.

June's life was full. She lived, she loved and she laughed and had lived with no regrets and was very thankful for it all.
