OBITUARY:

Esther A. (D’Ettore) Frasca passed away at her daughter’s home Sunday morning, April 15th. The beloved wife of Matthew Frasca, she was eighty seven years of age.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Josephine (Cassiano) D’Ettore.

Raised and educated in Medford Esther was a graduate of Medford High School along with the Class of 1948.

Esther and Matthew married in the mid fifties and brought six children into the world. Needless to say Esther was kept quite busy over the years, but particularly in the growing up part! A very loving and attentive Mom she dedicated herself to providing a very happy and comfortable home for all. They moved to Woburn in 1963, where the children had gone to school and graduated from high school.

After all the children were in school Esther decided to embark on her own career. She went to school, became a Nurses Aide and secured herself a position at the New England Rehab Center, where she had remained for twenty seven years, loving every day.

The children married and began families of their own and soon she became “Nana, ” a roll she cherished!

Later she had moved to Chelmsford, to be closer to her family. She became quite involved in the Senior Center where she loved to play cards and had established a whole host of friends that she would sit and chat with. Esther always enjoyed going Sunday rides. Her favorite spot was the beach, where she would enjoy sitting in the sun and looking out at the water for hours on end.

Esther remained a very feisty, energetic, outgoing woman all throughout her life time. Family was always first and foremost but also right beside her family was her very strong faith .

Sadly she was predeceased by her parents, husband Matthew and son Matthew.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Denise Barrett, her husband Joe, of NH, Paul Frasca, his wife Carol, of Woburn, Deborah Grover, her husband Tom, of Chelmsford, Darlene Frasca, of Chelmsford, Diane Darcey, her companion Michael Moore, of Lowell, Proud “Nana” of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
