ROBERT B. "BOB" TIERI Robert B. “Bob” Tieri—In Woburn, February 3, at 86 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Jeanne E. (Canney) Tieri. Dear son of the late Bernard and Angelina(Santangelo) Tieri. Loving father of Eileen M. Kollias and her husband Zissis of Woburn, Robert J. Tieri and his wife Laura of Woburn, William B. Tieri of Quincy. Devoted brother of Eva Knobloch and her husband Richard of Malden, George Tieri and his wife Josie of NH, Richard Tieri and his wife Jackie of Woburn, Helen Hills and her late husband Larry of NH. Special and loving “Gramps” of Angela, Kostas, Rebecca, Robert and Andrew. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Saturday, February 11th at Noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited calling hours at the Funeral Home, from 10:00-11:45 am prior to the service. Interment is private. Please at the families request, in lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Bob’s honor to the National MS Society, P.O. Box 4527, New York, NY 10163.

OBITUARY:

Robert B. "Bob" Tiere passed away at the Lahey Clinic Friday, February 3rd. The beloved husband of the late Jeanne (Canney) Tieri, he was eighty six years old.

Born in Everett, he was the son of the late Bernard and Angelina (Santangelo) Tiere. Raised and educated in Everett, Bob was a graduate of Everett High School along with the Class of 1948.

Bob served in the U.S. Army, and was a proud Veteran of the Korean War. Upon his return home he became involved in the car industry. Bob was soon the owner and operator of Motorland, Inc. for over fifty five years. He dedicated his life to his business, family and friends. Bob was very proud of his three children. His five grandchildren where his world! Watching them all grow into the incredibly wonderful adults they are today, just made him so happy and proud.

A Funeral service will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Saturday, February 11th at Noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours at the Funeral Home from 10:00-11:45 am prior to the Service. Interment is private.
