From there, when the Choate closed Martha went on to Choate Symmes Hospital in Arlington and then later to VNA Middlesex East which was out of Wakefield, until her retirement in the late nineties.
Martha had brought four children into the world. They certainly kept her busy in those growing up years. From the five o'clock in the morning hockey practices to the fun in the sun activities at Hampton or Salisbury Beach. As the years went along and the children became adults Martha loved being a grandmother! All the very special times she spent with them was oh so very precious to her.
In 1998 she married David Fitzpatrick her long time companion and dear friend. The spent many happy times driving cross country, travelling to Ireland, Puerto Rico or golfing any where and everywhere there was a course! All throughout the years Martha loved to be active. In particular gardening was her specialty growing, the tomatoes, lettuce, and green beans peppers, you name it she grew it.! Reading, crossword puzzles, find a word or any other game that kept her mind active, ahe loved to do!
