MARJORIE E. (TURNER) KENNEY - of Woburn, February 2nd, at fifty-six years of age. Loving daughter of the late Robert and Marjorie (Dickie) Turner. Devoted fiancé of Kevin Pierce of Woburn. Cherished mother of Aiden C. Pierce of Woburn and Michelle Davolio, her husband Ryan of Billerica. Beloved sister of Linda Lavacchia, her late husband James of Woburn, Denise Evans, her husband James of Woburn and the late Deborah Turner. Special grandmother to Jace and Ariana of Billerica. Caring aunt to Paul and Kelly McElhinney, Jimmy, Derek and Justin Evans all of Woburn. A Funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, MA on Friday, February 10th at 9 followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church, 851 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. OBITUARY:

Marjorie Ellen (Turner) Kenney passed away on Thursday, February 2nd, 2017. The beloved daughter of the late Robert and Marjorie (Dickie) Turner, she was 56 years of age.

Born, raised and a lifelong resident of Woburn, Marjorie was one of four girls brought into the Turner family. She attended Woburn Public Schools , graduating with the Class of 1979.

When she was in her early 20’s, Marjorie began working in accounts payable for numerous companies for many years, until she retired from her career in 1996. After her retirement, she began a new position at Winchester Hospital as a switchboard operator, retiring from Winchester Hospital in 2004.

Being a lifelong resident of Woburn, Marjorie was very much comfortable with staying close by and traveling locally. She along with her family would travel to the White Mountains which was her favorite place to visit. While in New Hampshire, she loved going out to eat at different restaurants and bringing the kids to all the different amusements parks. She was a great admirer of photography and would take plenty of pictures while up north.

Marjorie was very much multi talented. She had a beautiful singing voice and would serenade her friends and family at parties. She absolutely loved listening to music and her favorite singers were Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross and Whitney Houston. Cooking was a specialty of hers. Her meatballs with raisins were her signature dish and a hit! She enjoyed spending time by the water, by the beach and/or poolside. She loved drawing and wood burning. In addition, she loved making conversations and talking on the phone.

Marjorie will always be remembered as being an outgoing and caring person who loved and adored her family and friends. A hardworking person who enjoyed giving to those in need.

Sadly, in addition to her mother and father, Marjorie is predeceased by her sister Deborah Turner and her brother-in-law James Lavacchia.
