OBITUARY:

Jane E. (Ercole) DiMauro passed away at the Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, Monday, January 23rd and her beloved family right at her side. The loving daughter of James and Kathy (Rohwer) Ercole was fifty six years old.

Born in Elsworth, Maine, Jane was one of four children. Their Dad was in the Navy so throughout the years they had wonderful opportunities of doing quite a bit of traveling all over the continent. In later years they spent alot of time in Clinton, Maryland. It was there at the Independent Baptist Academy where Jane graduated from High School with the Class of 1978. Jane continued her pursuit of education at Temple University in Tennesse for several years. After, Jane secured herself a position working with the Federal Government for several years.

Jane later married and brought three children, two sons and a daughter into the world. Jane was always there for her children over the years.

Jane held a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and was masterfully proficient in Kumdo, which is a self defense style using swords. Jane set aside special time each day to teach her children Tae Kwon Do.

In 2010 Jane was diagnosed with cancer. A very strong, energetic and passionate woman, she dealt with this diagnosis courageously, doing what she needed to do and following all of what was asked.

Jane had been in remission for several years. Less than a year ago her cancer returned and again and with all the energy she had, began adressing her needs again, right up until Monday, January 25th. Janes will, was phenomonal throughout her illness, never letting on, the severity of her disease.

Jane took great pride in her children and as the years have passed their relationships were strong. They all enjoyed the physical activities and had all celebrated their different accomplishments throughout the years.

Jane remained very passionate about her family and friends throughout the years, sharing her love with them unconditionally.

Jane is lovingly survived by her parents James and Kathy (Rohwer) Ercole of Maryland, her children Frank G. DiMauro, Mary K. DiMauro both of Dracut and David N. DiMauro of Middleton.
